"It's the things we take for granted, that we miss the most when everything's gone" me

"Inuyasha isn't it so peaceful here? The sound of the waves beating on the shore? Inuyasha? Inuyasha? INUYASHA!?! Are you listing to me!?!," yelled Shippo

"Huh?? What?? Yeah...sure," he replied

"INUYASHA!!!! WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM?"

"Damn it Shippo! Leave me alone!!," Inuyasha said as he stormed off

"Stupid kid!! Why can't he just back off? He needs to mind his own business! God!" Inuyasha was mumbling to him self. All of a sudden there was a gust of wind. He shivers. 'How did it get so cold out here?' Inuyasha thought to himself as he tightly wrapped his arms around himself.

Then his thoughts drifted off to another place, a different person; her.

"What's wrong with me? It's just a stupid girl!" he yelled

Then memories of her flooded his mind. A sudden emptiness; a feeling of his heart breaking came to him.

"Damn it! Why didn't I kiss her when I had the chance? Why couldn't I tell her, tell her that I...I love her! How could I be so stupid? I had it all. Now she's gone, gone into a place I can never be. I've lost her...all because of my big ego."

Inuyasha walked up too a small rock in the water and sat on it. "If only I could go back and change it all, all the things I said, the way I acted. EVERYTHING!" The tears on his cheek glistened under the moonlight. He fiercely wiped them away, but he couldn't keep them from trickling down.

"I'll never see her again. I've lost yet another. Why do I even try anymore? I should just end it all! I wish she would come back to me! My dear Kegome... PLEASE COME BACK TO ME!!!!"
