A.N.- It's over. All over. I'm content. And then I'm not. They died. They were reborn. Reborn with no memories of their hardships. Their losses. Of anything. And yet I loved it. Loved it for it's ambiguity. Hated it for its ambiguity. And it makes you think. If the world is reborn... Would we even realize it was gone in the first place?

"Hey Kiba! Wake up!" Two golden eyes opened slightly. In a ruffle of fur the beautiful white wolf stood. He stretched his muscles slowly. With a small yawn he took in his surroundings.
An immense pine-green forest, enclosed on all sides by snow-peaked mountains. The soft scent of pine and lunar flowers wafted around them with every zephyr. Multi-colored birds flew freely against the azure skies, their calls filling the day with the sound of bells. A pristine blue lake opened like a wound amongst a field of flowers. Astounding white flowers. Lunar flowers.
He took in the sight his home. Of Paradise. "Kiba! Come on!" He turned to his side. Two wolves stood there waiting for him. One had tan colored fur and matching eyes. The other was smaller with a light rust color about him. Hige and Toboe.
He made his way to them, slowly. Together they walked to the lake. He stopped for a second. Taking in the sweet scent of the flowers.
Another wolf lay amongst the flowers. He opened one eye in greeting then returned to his thoughts. The normally distant gray wolf was at last comfortable. Among the beauty of their home he had found solace.
This was what they had worked so hard to find. Step after agonizing step. Days without even the slightest trace of food. Cold days and even colder nights. All for this. All worth it.
This was a wolf's paradise. The one place left on Earth were the wolf could be at home. Away from the humans that plagued the world. Humans that took the land originally made for the wolf and slowly but steadily destroyed it.
But here they were. In the land made only for the wolf's eyes. The land they could never destroy. Finally at peace in this nirvana.
"Oops. Sorry there." A man passed by him. Startled blue eyes looked around. A man clad in leather was on a motorcycle. Amber eyes could be seen through his helmet visor.
On the other side of the street a boy in blue passed by eating pastries out of a bag. Messy tan hair getting slightly wet in the rain.
Near him a kid with rust colored, shoulder-length hair played with a kitten in a box. Silver bracelets dangled from his arm.
Kiba turned into an alley. He began to jog lightly. Water under his feet splashed as he began to run.
Run forever. 'Why do you humans always look to the sky? You don't have wings. You can't fly. We use what he have. We will run. Run to the ends of the Earth.'
He ran. And the flower waited. Hidden away. Basking in the light from the sun. Waiting for the day he'd come.
Run, run wolf warrior, run.
