Destiny and fate

Are in my hands

An yet

Love slips through my fingers

That much I know

They treat it as a duty

A chore they must go through

I thought it was bad

But it has gotten worse

With her appearance

All pretense has disappeared

I never had anything

Those relationship

Were built on nothing

It was just an illusion

I wonder at night

Alone in my cold dark room

If I really deserve all this

After what I've gone through

But love doesn't apply

To those who are Gods

It's part of the gift

And also the curse

But these tears well up

In the middle of the night

And no one sees

This God who mourns

For mortal love
