Chopunzel"Who does that Harry Potter thinks he is?" muttered Cho furiously, stamping her feet as she stalked down a deserted passage.
Anger ebbed at her mind. She and Harry had been shouting at each other again, Harry had been nasty about one of her best friends and of course she had retaliated. Just because they had kissed...didn't mean he bellow at her like that.
Cho kicked at a stonewall crossly before turning a corner and heading for the Ravenclaw common room. The castle was silent and a cool wind swept through the ancient building. Moonlight danced across her face as she streamed past windows and clambered up stairs.
Stupid Harry Potter with his stupid Hermione Granger. She was welcome to him and his know it all, bossy temperament. Cho hoped that had a very miserable life together.
No, said a little voice in her head. You don't mean that.
It was late. Cho had been hiding in the toilets for hours, sobbing for hours. Why did everything have to turn out awful whenever any good happened for her? Harry Potter and she had kissed, now they were fighting. She and Cedric had been a couple, now he was dead.
Cho squeezed her eyes shut as the hot tears rolled down her cheeks. It hurt so much to think of Cedric but yet whenever she thought of Harry, she had to think of him. Harry had seen Cedric die and he hadn't done anything to stop it. But t wasn't his fault. It was Lord Voldemort's fault and Harry had escaped from him very much alive.
"Its not fair," Cho said softly to the night.
A large, sweaty hand clamped other her mouth.
"Your right," breathed a whimpering voice in her ear, "Life is never fair."
