X-men belongs to people who aren't me. "Fat-Bottomed Girls" belongs to Queen. RIP Freddie!

Ooooooh

You gonna take me home tonight

Oooooh

Down beside that red fire light

Oooooh

You gonna let it all hang out

Fat-bottomed girls, you make the rockin' world go round

Someone was singing. Scott raised his eyebrows at the song choice. The voice was – he'd say a tenor, or maybe a baritone, he wasn't that good a judge. It had a rough edge he thought he recognized. . . He opened the door, standing slightly ajar, as quietly as he could.

Not quietly enough.

Logan spun around, and in one fluid movement, pulled Scott inside the room and slammed the door shut. He slammed the X-man up against the wall.

"You ever tell anyone about this, you're toast."

Scott grinned. "No worries, Logan. You're secret's safe with me."

Logan lowered the other man and watched warily as he left the room. Just before the door shut – "Summers."

Scott looked cautiously around the door. "Yeah?"

"If the kids start singing 'We Are the Champions' at me – you can be sure they'll be singing 'The Sound of Music' at you."

Scott's eyes widened behind his visor. "Fine." He slammed the door behind him. Logan's laughter followed him down the hallway.

Get on your bikes and ride!

I just wanted to write something goofy. I got "Best of Queen" for my birthday (won't tell which one, but it's a significant number) and I can't get enough of them. So. . . . I can actually see Logan liking that song. Maybe none of the others, but that one.
