No idea where this is going, just wanted to finally start writing a fanfic about the Turks (mainly Reno as he rules )

Please forgive me for any miss-spellings of any FFVII places and people, as I haven't played it in a wile

Note- I'd like to thank LostEmeraldFire for her comment on my poem about Reno

also all aspects of Final Fantsay VII belong to Squaresoft (or as they are known now, square-enix) and not me

Prologue

A year after Meteor a lot had changed. Corel was fast becoming a rich place due to the ban on Mako energy. Most of the towns and villages had their own meagre source of energy but they still needed at least some coal to keep them going.

Midgar on the other hand had become a ruin, although a populated ruin. It was haven to gangs, thieves and other low lives.

As for the heroes of the planet, Avalanche, they had gone their separate ways. Barret returned to his hometown of Corel, along with his daughter Marlene, where he was helping rebuild Corel. Reeve started a Hydro-electric Company in Junon, which was having difficulties due to the fear of another Shin-Ra. Vincent disappeared, no one knows where. Cid returned to Rocket Town intent on making another rocket, one space journey wasn't enough for him. Red XIII was searching for another of his kind, although having very little luck. Yuffie returned to Wutai but still hasn't settled down, much to her father's annoyance. Cloud, the hero of the planet, settled down in Costa Del Sol with Tifa, although they haven't had much peace so far.

But this story isn't about the heroes of the planet, this is about the downtrodden, those that lost everything in the wake of Meteor.

Avalanche weren't the only group to go their separate ways, The Turks disbanded after Meteor too. Rude worked at gold saucer, a bouncer. Elena was the most reluctant to leave The Turks but she adjusted after a wile and now works for Reeve. Reno was the first to leave. He left without warning in the middle of the night and didn't say a word.

At first he travelled from town to town doing odd jobs and stealing if worst came to worst. Few employers wanted anything to do with a Turk so his employment wasn't reliable and what one would call safe. After several months of travel he finally found a place to stay, somewhere where his evil wasn't as well known, it's here that our story begins...

Authors Notes: So, what do you think? Is it a good beginning? All comments welcome, even flames as long as they are constructive
