When Dash challenges Danny in a haunted house contest, he could not refuse. (He is a ghost) Later Danny meets a friendly ghost, who agrees to help him. With the help of a ghost can Danny win and scare the pants of Dash?

Ok this story is nothing related to the soon to air Fright Night.

Note: The ghost in this story is named Skeeter. He can morph and has magic fingers that can make things come to life and disappear. He is how I say a nitwit, but smarter than Jack.

So I don't bore you to death (lol) here is the "strait to the point" introduction

Dash challenged Danny in a haunted house contest. Danny and Dash shook on it. They were to try to build the ultimate haunted house. The loser... well they haven't decided that yet. (It will be announced later in the story) Danny thought it would be no problem. Since he was a ghost, he could just plain scare the pants of Dash, or so he thought....

Danny was busy rummaging through his dad's stuff, hoping his dad invented something that could help him. He came across what looked like a miniature Fenton thermos. Danny pushed the green button on the side. It rumbled and shook a little then stopped. Danny threw it behind him. It hurtled toward the Ghost portal and hit the "on' switch.

"I gotta stop doing that" said Danny

The ghost portal opened up, and a ghost came out. It looked around like it was lost. It looked at Danny, who was changing into a ghost. When Danny was finished, the ghost waved at Danny.

"I'm Skeeter"

Danny looked at the ghost

"What did you say?" asked Danny

"I'm Skeeter"

Danny looked at the ghost and cocked his head.

"Shouldn't you be haunting or trying to destroy me?" asked Danny

"Now, why would I go and do a thing like that?" asked Skeeter

"Maybe because you're a ghost" said Danny

"Me a ghost? That's ridiculous!"

Skeeter looked down and noticed he was floating

"Ahh I am a ghost. Help!" screamed Skeeter.

Danny could not help but to burst in laughter. Man was this guy for real? How could you not know you were a ghost? Danny whistled at the ghost. He stopped freaking out and turned to Danny.

"I'm Skeeter."

"I don't have time for this, I got a haunted house to build" said Danny

"Haunted house!? Can I help?" asked Skeeter

"No" said Danny

"Please" asked Skeeter

"No"

"Please"

"NO!"

"PL-EASE?"

While Danny was busy arguing, he did not notice Jack was coming.

"Nice costume" said Jack

"Not, now dad I'm arguing with a gho.... Dad what are you doing here?" shouted Danny

"Just seeing how that haunted house was coming." Said Jack

"Hi, I'm Skeeter"

"Nice ghost looks almost real" said Jack

"I am real" said Skeeter.

"Of course you are. Well, keep up the good work" said Jack

Jack left the room

"Whew, that was close" said Danny

"I'm Skeeter"

"Why couldn't Skulker have come out" said Danny "well we got lots of work to do, let's get to it?"

"Get to what?" said Skeeter
