LOVE IN THE MIDDLE

BULMA'S WISHBulma was in the kitchen of the Capsule Corp she was the only woman in the house, her mother was out buying loads of dresses for herself. Her dad was out at a Spaceship convention. Bulma was frying pancakes for herself and her son Trunks.
"Mum where's dad" said Trunks who had just woken up
"Your dad's gone out" said Bulma but her voice trailed away, Trunks came over he looked concerned.
"Are you alright mum" said Trunks
"I'm fine," said Bulma
"Are those for me?" said Trunks
"Help yourself" sniffed Bulma "I'm not hungry"
"Mum are you sure your alright" said Trunks
"I'm fine Trunks," said Bulma
"Is dad going to come back, you haven't had a split up have you" said Trunks sitting down and eating his pancakes
"Of course not, your dad's doing some training," said Bulma
"Training" said Trunks "What for"
"Your dad is obsessed with being the best warrior ever and defeating Goku," said Bulma
"Goku whose he" said Trunks
"He used to be my very good friend he saved the universe, more than just once actually" said Bulma "He's dead now"
"So why is dad trying to defeat him if he's dead" said Trunks
"He's coming back," said Bulma "He's been going through serious training"
"Even though he's dead," said Trunks
"He hasn't gone forever," said Bulma "He's still alive but in this destination he can't come, he's alive somewhere else"
"I don't understand," said Trunks
"Don't worry, but he's going to come back for the World Tournament and your dad wants to defeat him" said Bulma
"I wish dad would pay more attention to us, rather than training for some dead bloke why does he care so much" said Trunks
"Your too young" said Bulma "They are like rivals"
"What does that mean" said Trunks
"They are trying to be better than each other, while people were saying how bad Vegeta was, he used to be the bad boy of the universe, killing people but I saw the goodness in him and he did become good, he saved the universe with Goku trying to prove his strength, I knew that he was good all along, but he had this obession with Goku"
"He's not going to kill this Goku" said Trunks
"No of course not" laughed Bulma
"What would you do if he did" said Trunks
"Well I'll be very angry with him of course, probably break up with him" said Bulma "But I know he won't do that as I said, I love him"
"Oh mum" said Trunks grinning, Bulma was privately wishing the same as Trunks that Vegeta would come back and pay more notice to his family. But she knew he was to proud to pay attention to something as little as family. How very wrong she was.
