The Long Walk
Chapter 1: The Road Home
It was dark. Of course, it's always dark when traveling the outer reaches of space. But none of it mattered. For there was one thing Samus' mind that day. A warm bed.
Everything seemed just fine after she defeated the Omega Metroid, except that she had gotten her Ice Beam back, after all wasn't her DNA now genetically fused with a metroid's? That seemed to set off a red flag in our heroine's mind. Thus she began her new quest, her quest of self-redemption and purification.
Samus made her way through space to get back to Talon IV, This time in hopes of finding answer's and ways to purify herself. This time she figured she should try and land close to the Chozo ruins. This all made sense to her seeing as she might find some ancient scrolls or engravings for ceremonies she could perform. Though unknowingly to her, she was being watched.
In all of the universe one great organization, known only "The Organization". Normally they don't interfere with bounty killers such as Samus Aran. But then came the incident at Zebes. As each of her adventures passed, they grew more paranoid that she might upset the balance of life in the universe. Then as of her last mission they deployed a computer CO with to keep her in line. For the most part the plan worked, minus the loss of a great scientific discovery (Omega Metroid) and an even greater development, SA-X. But that didn't set them back too far. But what did was the loss of Ridley-X. Now he was a scientific marvel. A dead organism revived and fused with the X parasite! The potential that could've created is potentially horrendous, think about a never-dying army of Space Pirates! But they have long since recovered, and are now in the process of creating an even greater being. Codenamed: Aran-X318. A clone of our beloved Samus with much greater powers. Only the highest members of The Organization knew about this project, and the top secret team of scientists working on it didn't know for each team only created a singular part and some were divide between 2 teams to be combined by another team. But as the scout watching Samus stood there watching her practice these rituals, he wondered, "Is this the bounty killer made infamous among our people by the Zebes incident? Why she looks quite peaceful and friendly."
