An NGE Halloween!

"Mein Gott, Toji," says Asuka sarcastically, "your injuries were worse than I thought!"
"You're making fun of my costume, aren't you?" he asks as he stands with Asuka and Rei in Misato's apartment.
"Yes," she says.
"Well, it would've been cool if they'd fixed me up with cybernetic implants," he muses. "But, hey... I want to thank everybody for wearing the costumes I picked out. This is going to be the best Halloween ever!"
"Who am I, again?" asks Kaworu, joining them. He smiles, maybe too broadly, at his red tunic and green tights.
"The Boy Wonder," explains Toji.
"It fits. Sometimes, I wonder if he even is a boy," mutters Asuka. "No doubt you're a boy, Toji!" she says, looking down at her purple mini-skirt and halter-top.
"Hey! It's just what the character wears... don't any of you watch American cartoons?"
"I don't even own a TV," says Rei from within the cowl of her dark-blue cloak.
"So... what's my power, exactly?" asks Shinji. He emerges from the bathroom in a purple and black unitard, blushing through his green make-up.
"Shouting "I" at the heart of the world," exclaims an exasperated Toji. "Look, it doesn't matter."
ELSEWHERE:
"Why does this mask have only one eye-hole?" asks Gendo.
BACK AT THE APARTMENT BUILDING:
"Trick or treat!" four of the five teens shout.
"Applejack, metronome, zebras!" Rei tries valiantly.
The door in front of them opens, revealing a kindly old lady with a bowl of candy.
"Oh look," she says sweetly, "it's the Power Rangers!"
"I give up," sighs Toji.
