Disclaimer: I only own Aoi, Kurotori (or Luka) the villains, and maybe some characters in future. If I owned Yu Yu Hakusho, I would be making money. $$. Not writing this!

Aoi sat staring at me, her innocent eyes not seeming to be quite so innocent and coy.

"What?" I asked.

She shook her head. "Don't ask," she answered softly.

The hair on the back of my neck stood up.

"What?"

"Nothing."

"What?" I persisted.

"Nothing."

"What is it?"

"Luka. I have told you not to ask. It is nothing."

A chill seemed to spread through my body. At the acid in her voice. Don't ask, you don't want to know what it is.

"You've changed."

"I have."

"Completely."

"Yes."

"What is it?"

"Nothing."

"It has to be something."

"It's nothing."

"What is it?"

She got up and went to the kitchen. A few moments later, she reappeared carrying a plate of sandwiches.

"Let's eat and then I'll tell you."

I nodded and she set the plate down before going to get glasses and a pitcher of lemonade. She poured us both some then handed me mine. I drank. An extremely bitter flavor laced the liquid. My eyes widened and she leaned forward, a cruel smile on her lips.

"You must understand, Chiisai tori." There was blackness at the edge of my vision and her grin widened, "Chiisai Kurotori."
