My friend Ani (who is the daughter of Master Anakin's sister Jaina and her husband Zeek) invites me to have lunch with her and her friends. So we walk over to where all her friends were sitting and I see Beny Skywalker sitting there and I feel my heart in my throat. Ani intruduced me to everyone. When she got to Ben he seemed to already no my name. He said "Laiden right?" and ani asked him "How do you know?" "My dad told me their was a new padwan and said her name was Laiden Sola Windu" Ben answerd looking at me with his big beautiful blue eyes. Those eyes could make any poor girls heart skip a beat.
Everyone was so kind to me. I noticed that Ben was a little on the shy side and I could feel the strength of the force flowing through him. Ani tells me that it is a Skywalker thing and it flows through anyone who is of Anakin's blood.
I started to realize wile I was sitting their that no one cared that I was the strange new girl that comes from the Windu family and yet I'm white. I could feel Ben looking at me. I turned to look at him and our eyes met and I felt this huge rush come over me that I could hardly breathe. I knew right then that I loved him.
I lost complete track of the time and realized that I was late for class. Ani and I ran to our Jedi history class as fast as we could. We got in trouble and had to stay after class. But I did not care. I just could not wait to see Ben again.
