A Story.

Objective: To write a story at least a page long. It must have a beginning, middle and end. There must be two characters, and in the beginning the scene is set and we get to know them. In the middle something happens or goes wrong, and they get themselves in a predicament. In the end they manage to get themselves out of the predicament, and everything is resolved. It must not be based on any true happenings or true people in any way, shape or form.
There was an old house. It was very old. It was also very creaky. It was a very old, creaky house. It looked very dark, and scary. Zach and Freddie were very scared of it. They were scared of it because it was old, creaky, dark and scary. They did not like that house one bit.
Zach and Freddie made friends with two girls called Katy and Summa. Katy and Summa had a gang, and Freddie and Zach wanted to join it. This was a bad idea. Freddie and Zach were good boys. They always did their homework, and always got straight A's. Katy and Summa were very naughty. They never did their homework, and sometimes skipped class! They said that if Freddie and Zach wanted to join their gang they had to spend one whole night in the old, creaky house. Freddie and Zach did not want to do this because the house was dark and scary. But they had to do it anyway.
At 8pm Freddie and Zach went to the house. They did not want to do this, as it was on a school night! But they had to do it anyway. They went into the house, and fell asleep in one of the rooms. At 12am they were woken up by ghosts! Freddie had lit a candle, but as he was running out of the house he dropped it. When Freddie and Zach made it outside, the whole house burnt down to the ground. It turned out that the ghosts had really been Katy and Summa in disguise! This was good for everyone, as the owners of the house claimed insurance, Freddie and Zach were in the gang and Katy and Summa were dead. No-one had liked them anyway.

"Dude," Zack said when Freddy showed it to him, "you're going to get an F. Freddie and Zach are our names spelt wrong with Katie and Summer's characters, and vice versa."
"Oh really?" smirked Freddy. "Well how come I got an A?"
