Starry Night

I look at the stars shining so bright
Up, looking down on a moon lit night
I wondered if the fairy tales were true
But as I looked at a certain star I knew
If I made a wish, to find someone to love
It'll be heard from all the heavens above
I'd finally find the one I'd been looking everywhere for
The love we'd share would be more beautiful than the sunset on the shore
And when I am hurt and try to hide
He'd hold me tight and always be by my side
So I closed my eyes to wish with my heart
And wished for love to come swifter than a dart
Hopefully it'll come true very soon
Because I need this wish like the tide needs the moon....
