Summary: Coach Herb Brooks has an 18 year old daughter. She participates in the Hockey team.
Chapter 1
Jacqueline Brooks was in her room studying for her last final of her senior year. She could hear her dad and younger brother in the other room playing table hockey.
The phone rang and she went to grab it.
"Hello?" She asked.
"Hi, Jack?" Walter's voice asked on the other end.
"Yea," she answered.
"Can I speak to your father please?" he asked.
"Sure. Hold on." Jack walked to where her dad and brother were and knocked.
"Dad," she started, "Phone for you."
Her father walked into his study and picked up the phone. She could hear murmuring and finally when he came out he said simply, "I got the job."
Hockey Tryouts
Jack walked into the hockey rink wearing jeans and a black hooded sweatshirt. She followed her dad accidentally tripping over someone's hockey bag. She heard laughter from the guys around her. She looked up and there was a hand stretched out. She grabbed it and was lifted up.
"Mark Johnson," the hockey player introduced himself.
"Jack Brooks," she replied.
"Are you alright Jack Brooks?" he asked with a smile.
"Fine thank you, Mark Johnson." She answered.
