Sakura Haruno is a dedicated and determined person. You could prove that by her strong love for Sasuke Uchiha. Even if she was ignored, she continued being infatuated with him.
Something changed, though.
Sakura's Point Of View
I've always wanted to tell you that I'm in love with you, Sasuke. I'm not afraid of embarassing myself, I'm afraid of getting rejected. I try to tell myself to fade away, as I know you'll never notice me. You never did. But that didn't matter, because no matter what, I love you.
"Sasuke-kun..." I softly said, "do you mind if I sit beside you?"
"Hmm? For what reason, then?" he told me, with his cold eyes, waiting for a quick answer. "Well, I, I want to tell you something important." I told him, as I turned rosey-cheeked. "Is it that important?" he said, while turning his head away. "Um, I don't know but-" I tried to tell him. "If it's not that important, then I won't have any time for it." he interrupted me, and then moved somewhere else.
I was hurt by that cold moment, but atleast, I had some time talking to him... at least...
No matter how much he hurts me, I accept it. Just even knowing him...
The next day. Yet another cold day.
I saw Sasuke, just sitting there staring coldly at the area around him.
"Sasuke, is something bothering you?" I asked, in such a worried tone. "It's none of your business, Haruno." he told me, without even looking. "But I'm just worried..." I insisted. "Or rather curious? I'd not tell you at all." Sasuke said.
I was stunned. I tried to be worried, yet you didn't care.
I'm willing to take that within me.
The following day is here.
It was very windy, so obviously, the temperature is very cold.
It's nothing, compared to Sasuke, though...
Of course it is! Get something to warm to wear, idiot! It's freezing! my "inner" side said.
Right! I forgot about my health, because I was lovesick.
As I reached for my coat, I wasn't expecting on seeing someone.
"Oi, if you don't put on something suitable to wear for the weather. You'll get sick," he told me, "Here." He handed me my coat.
I felt my heart race. "Th-thank you..." I told him, even if I was nervous. "It's alright, I'm just looking after you like you were looking after me." Sasuke told me.
"I-I didn't know you were-" I tried to tell him that he was actually worried, but before I could finish, he said...
"Just this once."
Even though you're as cold as winter is, I felt your warmth, just even once.
