Kairi was walking on the beach, letting the foamy tide tickle her toes. The smell of the salt and sulfur entered her nose, then exited and blew in the wind through her hair. Sora looked upon her from the dock. She looked more beautiful then ever. He looked up into the sunny baby blue sky and closed his eyes, letting the heat of the sun soak into his body. When he looked down to watch Kairi, she was gone. Where could she have gone so quick? Sora jumped up and turned around to look for Kairi, but there was no need. Kairi was standing behind him trying not to smile as he stumbled backwards at the surprise of seeing her.

"You scared me Kairi!" Sora said getting to his feet once more, "Why did you come up here?"

"Do you not want me up here?" she said looking hurt.

"Kairi, its not that. You just scared me!" Sora explained. He jumped off the dock and plummeted into the cold, salty water, "C'mon Kairi!"

Karir looked at Sora as if he were out of his mind, but she willingly jumped into the water. He swam towards where she jumped. He could see her swimming to the surface. When she finally broke through she wiped her eyes, and put her hair into a low ponytail.

"So is Riku better?" Kairi asked looking Sora in the eyes.

"Yeah...but just a little. Its only a virus Kairi, so don't worry. He will get better." Sora said.

"Oh." Kairi said looking away.

"Kairi?" Sora asked as he swam to her, "I need to ask you something."

Kairi looked at Sora with loving eyes, she was hoping he would ask the question that she had so longed for him to ask, "Yes Sora?" she replied.

"Kairi I love you and I awlays have...Will you be my girlfriend and stay with me forever?" Sora asked, he pulled a paupu out of his pocket and broke it in half, handing Kairi a piece. It was wet from the water they were swimming in.

"Yes." she said. She was beaming as she took the paupu and ate it as Sora ate his.
