own Yugioh but I guess I was wrong. I don't own it, never have never
will.
Malik Ishtar lay awake during the night lovingly caressinghis wife's shoulders. It was all still sinking in. Just a week ago he had
married Anzu Mazaki, the love of his life. Even being the tough guy
that he was, he had to admit that it had been amazingly romantic.
Flashback
The proposal had gone flawlessly. She had been so excited. He had
taken her out into the dessert and waited exactly 'til sunset. Then he
brought out a jewel that he considered being second only to her. A very
rare and large diamond had been placed on a gold band. He had found it
while trying to escape his old home back when all the chaos had started.
As he presented the ring to her, tears started to fall down her cheeks. He
slowly kissed them away, promising to love her always if she did the
same by marrying him. A mind-blowing kiss had been his answer.
Wedding Flashback
The sun was setting over Cairo, Egypt. The guests were all anxiously
waiting for the bride to appear. More so the groom. The altar had been
constructed right above his old home. He desired it to be so, even though
his wife thought it would be too painful. He had simply explained that
he was ending a chapter in his life by beginning a new one with her. He
had friends, Ryou and Bakura, who were now at his standing at his side,
a family, which consisted of his sister and brother and a soon to be wife.
All painful memories were set aside, even his grudge against the once
pharaoh. That of course didn't mean that he was best pals with the guy.
No, he kept a close watch on him, not entirely trusting him with his
sister. The gang as he now called them was patiently sitting, talking
amongst themselves admiring it all.
Now as the sun was setting, Anzu marched down the lovely aisle. White
roses covered her steps, slowly swept away by the wind. She was dressed
in an amazing white gown that swept graciously behind her. Her
friends were all standing, admiring how beautiful she looked. But none
more than Malik. He knew in that very instant that he would never
leave her side. He would never let any harm fall upon her. He would
protect her with everything he had, especially against any who tried to
take her from him. His possessiveness never wavered.
She slowly made her way towards him, her smile never failing to be
present. She entwined her hand with his and waited patiently as the
ceremony took place. After they exchanged vows, Malik pulled Anzu
into a kiss. All applauded as they made their way towards their
honeymoon suite. That night he had made her his ensuring their bond.
End of Flashback
Malik watched as his wife stirred from his ministrations, obviously
annoyed and content at the same time.
"Malik, go to sleep already"
"In a minute, I just like watching you sleep"
"Well if you don't stop, you won't be sleeping at all," she said with an
evil glint in her eyes. Of course being Malik, he wasn't one to object.
Misery: So, like it? Tell me, but remember no flames. There you have
their somewhat wedding retold through Malik. And thank for the
support in towards my other stories.
