This is a poem I wrote when I was bored one night. It has to do with my story "Protecting Star" and it's from Robin's POV. . .so. . .enjoy!! and please review!

I Wasn't There

I wasn't there for you,

You don't deserve me,

I couldn't protect you,

Why do you love me?

I wasn't there for you,

But thanks for being there for me,

You needed someone to protect you,

But instead you chose me

I wasn't there for you,

But you still smile,

The smile that I love,

That makes everything worthwhile

I wasn't there for you,

But your eyes still glow,

And your white heart,

Purer than snow

I wasn't there for you,

But you still believe,

Even when you thought

That you would leave (a/n-In Betrothed)

I wasn't there for you,

You are so much more,

You are so peaceful,

Like the sand on the shore

I wasn't there for you,

But I still love you,

But I still wonder,

Why do you love me too?

I wasn't there for you,

I left you alone,

And when I left you,

No longer have your eyes shone

But you still loved me,

Loved me for who I was,

b ut all of the memories,

Turned into fuzz

Thank you for being there,

Even though,

I wasn't there
