-Note- My apologies for a short chapter, but this is all I wanted for it. More to come if I gather enough ideas!

Men in Black: The New Generation

-One-

"Code 305692 section 24C," Agent Kay lectured as he and Agent Jay walked onto the elevator that led to MIB headquarters. "Only use a neuralizer on human beings."

"Hey, that parrot was going to exclaim to everyone where that Glordin was hiding," Jay objected as the two agents walked off the elevator and pass some of the other agents of MIB.

"And you nearly gave it a heart attack," Kay retorted as they entered Zed's office.

"Good job handling the Glordin," Zed complimented as Kay and Jay sat down on white chairs that were in front of his desk. "When they get attention, nothing good comes from it."

"Anything new happening, Zed?" Jay asked.

"There's been a sighting over in Central Park," Zed explained, looking at the computer screen that sat atop his desk. "Three teenagers say that their friend was abducted by aliens."

"We'll go down and check it out," Kay said unenthusiastically as he stood up. "Are you coming Slick?"

Jay rolled his eyes and stood to leave. "Right behind you Boss," he muttered sarcastically as they left.

Kay and Jay stepped out of the car just as the three teenagers were hoping to leave. Men in Black personnel were checking out the scene, and Jay could tell that the teens were jumpy about the situation.

"You don't understand!" the one girl of the three exclaimed impatiently to one of the personnel that was questioning her and her friends. "We saw what we saw. It's not every day that your friend gets abducted by aliens!"

"Sure kid," the man replied as he started to walk away.

"Let me handle them," Jay muttered as he and Kay walked up to the teens. "You'll only intimidate them."

"Go by the book," Kay muttered in reply as they stopped in front of them.

The one of the boy's to the left of the girl looked up at them and grunted. "Let me guess," he stated. "You two are here to tell us that it was all a figment of our imaginations and that we shouldn't be out this late."

"No…" Jay started.

"We're not little kids," the girl retorted. "We know what happened. We were walking around Central Park, minding our own business, when a blinding light shone down on top of one of our friends and by the time our eyes adjusted to the light, she was gone!"

Kay looked at the three teenagers thoughtfully as Jay tried to reason with them. They looked around the ages of fifteen or sixteen, and what they wore proved his theory. The two boys wore baggy pants and t-shirts, and the girl wore a pair of baggy jeans and a slightly fitted t-shirt.

"C'mon guys," Jay tried to reason. "Are you sure your friend isn't just playing tricks on you?"

"If she was playing tricks on us," the girl replied, her emerald green eyes narrowing, "then why are the Men in Black here?"

Jay stopped and looked at Kay almost in a panicky way. Kay shrugged calmly. "Because you three seem to be making a big deal out of a little trick," Kay said. "Now if you three would just look right here…"

As he took out his neuralizer, the three teens ran away. "Crap," Kay muttered. "Now don't…"

Before he could finish, Jay had started to chase after them. "…Go running after them," Kay finished, his voice low so that it seemed like he was muttering to himself. He walked back to the car and drove off, hoping to meet up with Jay and the kids before they got out of Central Park.
