De Nam

I travel the world,
In search of a cure.
I look for a way,
That's safe, for sure.

All of my studies,
Has taken me far away.
Far from my home,
Far from where I lay.

I met a Clavat/Selkie/Lilty/Yuke,
One who was kind.
One who was strong,
And sharp at mind.

We were good friends,
And maybe even more,
I found out where he/she lived,
It was near the Tipa shores.

We wrote letters to each other,
But to our dismay...
We couldn't visit eash other,
As we lived far away.

Then that horrible fate,
It came.
As I think about it,
I wallow in shame

I'm at Conall Curach,
I tell my friend to come.
I tell him/her that I found a cure,
I sit here writing as I hum.

I gave the mail to the moogle,
He tripped into the murky pool.
I shake my head as I write again,
And I think, "What a clumsy fool!"

As I finish quickly the rest of my letter,
I hear a loud splash.
I see many monsters surround me,
And it was me they were going to bash.

The moogle has left,
I did not send my dry letter.
I take out my sallet,
"We'll see who's the better fighter!"

I take a swing at the monster,
Who quickly dodged the attack.
Another monster crept up from behind,
And attacked me from the back.

Another attacked me from the front,
When I had my guard down.
It tore off my bandana,
And I mentally screamed as I frown.

Another steals my sallet away from me,
Another slashes my arm.
Another takes my items away,
I try to fight back in alarm.

Despite my efforts,
I fall into a deep sleep.
There seems a lot,
And too much promises to keep.

As I slip into my slumber,
I wonder about what he/she will think.
When he/she sees that I'm not there,
Her/His heart will sink.

The monsters throw me in the water,
I will be buried there that way.
Stripped of my life,
It is here where I will stay.

As I close my eyes,
My life now ends.
The story of my life,
It won't be easy to mend.

I say farewell to thee,
As these are the last words from me.

This is just my opinion on how De Nam died (at least I think he died). I don't really see any poetry around here, so I decided to make one...that was dedicated to De Nam (who is my favorite character in Crystal Chronicles).
