Piper stood in the kitchen, baking her "world-famous" chocolate chip cookies. She quickly glanced at her watch as she stirred in the chocolate chips into the mixture. "11:00...I wonder why everyone's not up yet." she mumbled to herself. She continued to stir the condensing dough. She turned, grabbed a wooden spoon and started taking it out of the bowl. When she turned, Leo was standing there, acting nonchalant. "Good morning, Leo." she said to him with a small smile. "Morning Piper." he replied, walking back behind the counter to wrap his arms around her waist, putting his chin on her shoulder. "Leo. I'm trying to cook here..." "Hmm? Oh. Okay then..." He disentangled himself and sat on a stool opposite of his wife. As she worked with her sleeves rolled up he studied her face. Her long brown hair was shaped in a ponytail, designed to keep the hair away from her face as she moved around the kitchen. Paige suddenly walked into the room, still half asleep. "Morning, Paige." "Morning, Leo. What time is it?" "11:05." Paige's eyes popped open. "No way! I couldn't possibly have slept that late!"
Phoebe walked into the kitchen as well, just as Piper was placing the dough onto the foil on a pan. "Morning all." Phoebe muttered. Piper closed the oven door, shook some flour off of her hands and smiled a bit. "Cookies should wake you guys up," she said to them. "Quit with the quips and pass the caffeine." Phoebe muttered again. Piper shrugged. "Suit yourself." She grabbed a mug, filled it with steaming coffee and handed it to Phoebe. Phoebe took the mug and walked to the refrigerator, pouring some milk into it. Piper nodded to Paige. "Paige, Didn't you say you were going to go research on that demon we saw last week?" "Yeah. Okay then Piper. I will go." Paige orbed off into the attic. "Phoebe.... Did you finish your sabbatical yet?" Phoebe, halfway drinking the coffee, spluttered it out in an instant. "I forgot!" Leo smiled a bit. "I'd better go check on the boys." Piper nodded to him. "Be careful.", she said as he orbed out. Phoebe rushed up to her room and changed into a black jacket, a red shirt and blue jeans. "Bye Piper!", she yelled, zooming out the front door.
Piper sighed and grinned as the smell of fresh cookies wafted into the room. "I'd better go check on Paige." She walked up to the attic and found Paige, curled up and asleep on the couch. "Paige.", she said loudly, making her sister jump. "Wake up. We're supposed to find this guy and vanquish him, okay?" Paige nodded a bit. "Okay, okay." The two began flipping around the book of Shadows.
