"Logan. I don't want her to die!" Marie said.
"Shhhh… She won't she'll be okay."
"Who knows what were in those fumes in her cell? She was in it for far too long."
"It'll be okay."
Soon Jean came out of the lab.
"Is everything okay?" Scott asked.
She sighed before saying, "The fumes were highly toxic. She was exposed to it for quite a while. I don't know how she could have survived it. My best guess was that it had something to do with her mutation genetic genes."
"Will my baby live?" Logan said holding Marie.
"I don't know."
"Can we see her?" Marie said.
"Sure."
The couple walked in to stare at their lifeless daughter on the bed.
"Please! Come on. Live baby." Marie said stroking her hair and kissing her on the forehead.
Logan never was much of a religious man but now all he had was hope. "Please god. Help her. She doesn't deserve this. Don't betray her. Not now. Please?"
They held her and a moment later she began to move.
"Mommy….Daddy?" Bridget choked out.
"Bridget?! I'm here baby!" Marie said wiping her tears and staring happily at Bridget.
"Me too. And I'm not going to let you go," Logan said joining the family hug.
