Scars
They cover my whole body
Everyone holds a deadly secret
Secrets I'm doomed to take to my grave
How is this possible, you ask?
It's easy, I can't say family scars
You can hold me tight and wipe my tears
And I will whisper in your ear
"Please, please don't leave now..."
I will cry in your tight embrace
You feel my scars
The warmth of my tears flowing in my face
You take me to your room
And lay me in your bed
We both slip in the covers willing to sleep
You whisper to me that you will protect me from my nightmares
As you close my eyes you're still holding we undress without taking our eyes from each other
We unite skin with skin
Hair with hair
We fall a sleep in each others arms
Dreaming for the day for this pain to go away
You're my guardian
And you're a spirit
You're my lover
