All three moons where high in the sky. Though only two of the three could be seen the presence of the third was obvious. These days evil was everywhere, it lurked in every shadow. It hid in every corner. It even walked the very streets by day and night. For the Dark Queen's forces the Draconian's control most of the known Krynn.

The company had stopped at an Inn called the Silver Skillet. Caramon loved the food there; he totally cleaned out the kitchen. Wherever Caramon goes though he usually cleans out the kitchen, the pantry and the cellar. Caramon and Raistlin shared a room. The company was just stopping for one night then they where going to continue on the road. Raistlin lay in his bed half awake looking out the window staring at the red moon. For she still wore red robes though he knew that would not last long if he wanted true power. He glanced at where the black moon was suppose to be, he felt its powerful presence.

Power that he desired so, he craved for it, almost as much as his brother craved food. Raistlin smiled at his own funny. Raistlin heard a floor board creak at the end of the hall. He was fully alert, his hand going to his staff. The footsteps came nearer and nearer heading towards their door.

Caramons deep breaths stopped, he to was fully awake, the twins made quick eye contact no words needed be said. Caramon was behind the door in a matter of moments prepared for the intruder. Raistlin had his staff held high the first spell that came to mind on the tip of his tongue.

The heavy boots stopped outside their door and it slowly creaked open. Caramon grabbed the intruder his muscles rippled with strength as he threw him across the room knocking over a pile of Raistlins books he had been intently studying moments ago. Caramon leapt on him like a vicious animal seeking his prey, one that had been starved for weeks.

"Caramon wait," his frail twin walked up behind him. His brother spoke a word in the spidery language of magic and the ball on top of his staff light up. Revealing their intruder. "It is nothing but the Half-Elf." Raistlin smiled and picked up his book that knocked over in the commotion. Handling the book with nothing but love and care checking it over for any scratches or marks.

Caramon looked at the intruder. "Tanis." Caramon stood up dragging their intruder with him. "You're back, where's Tika?"

Tanis smiled glad to see his old friend, "glad to see you too Caramon," Tanis rubbed his back. He then look up at Caramon with a grim expression, she was kidnapped on our way to the inn."

"What?" Caramon feeling as though he had just taken a physical blow, he quickly regained his balance. "Why aren't you out looking for her we have to go get her." Caramon was in the doorway he had grabbed his sword off the table "now!"

Tanis just stood there looking at his giant friend. Tanis wasn't quite sure what to say him or how to say it. Raistlin stood up and grabbed something off Caramon's bed. "Brother maybe you should put some pants on first," Raistlin threw Caramon his pants. Caramons face went bright red, all caught up in the commotion didn't realize he wasn't wearing anything. It was a hot summer night and you would be foolish to go to bed fully dressed.

"And also grab your armor it will be a long night." Tanis rubbed the sleep from his eyes he hadn't slept in two days and he had just arrived.
