Notes - The Moth was just a good episode evidentally. Three fics of it all in one night? I mean, really. The same night the episode aired, too. I think this is a personal record. And not just for this fandom. For all of them. LOL!

Made My Choice

"Give them to me." I say. And I want them. I know I do.

He sighs and reminds me, "This is the third time. Are you sure you really want to?"

Solemnly, seriously, I tell him that, "I've made my choice." And I have. I know exactly what I'm doing with the drugs when he gives them back to me. I know exactly what I'm going to do.

He looks disappoined, but gives them to me nonetheless.

I look at him. Then at the bag. And I glance at the fire. I throw the bag into the flames. Watch it burn.

He smiles, "I'm proud of you Charlie," He nods, "I always knew you could do it."

Proud? That's not something I've heard very often. Hardly ever, really. Parents were never proud of me. And the only thing my brother was ever proud for me for was taking up drugs. Until he quit, that is. Someone being proud of me isn't something I'm used it. It's...foreign to me. It feels great to hear it from him. I'm grinning, I can feel it, as I nod to him. Thanks. Thanks for being proud of me, Locke. You have no idea what it means to me.

Notes - Well, that was probably the quickest thing I've ever written. I've written some short stuff, but I've never really seen it so short. Or maybe I have. But it's usually hard for me to condence things. I'm surprised I didn't make it uber-long. lol! Anyhow...
