Chapter Fifty-Four: One Final Confrontation

"Well, everyone's asleep now," Becky announced, coming into the rec room of the Courage X. She lay down on the couch next to her husband who was relaxing now that the danger was over. He began to stroke her face.

"I'm so glad everyone's alright now. Maybe now we can find some peace?" Patrick said hopefully.

"I wouldn't be too sure about that. Kaiba's still out there."

"I can't believe the police found Kaiba innocent."

"Blame the lie detectors."

"So Kaiba really was possessed... How'd he take the loss of his three Blue Eyes?"

"Naturally, he wasn't pleased but it was either he let Ryan keep them or Kaiba could get jail time anyway."

"Ryan'll be happy with that." The two parents laughed.

"Well, I'm thinkin' we should get to bed. It's been a rough trip."

"Yeah, and we still have to drop off Yugi and his friends."

"Right. After we drop them off, do you think we'll see them again?" Mr. Floyd smirked.

"Sooner than you might think..."

TWO YEARS LATER...

"Ladies and gentlemen! Floyd Industries is proud to present the two finalists in our contest: Yugi Moto and Princess Saria of Hyrule!" An announcer shouted. Saria and Yugi found themselves on opposite sides of a large dueling arena in the center of a large inter-stellar colosseum.

"This is it! Prepare yourselves for everyone here is ready to see your best cards! Shuffle your decks and let the Floyd Industries Duel Monsters Tournament final match begin!" Saria, in her princess regalia, shuffled her deck with a deck shuffler device on her podium and put the deck in her deck recognition slot. Yugi, wearing a blue jacket, black T-shirt, dark blue jeans, black shoes and the Millennium Puzzle around his neck followed suit. Both drew five cards and smiled.

"Yugi! It's been two long years since we first met at the Great Sea Islands. We fought on the same side then but today is not the case. Today we are rivals and as a rival should, I'll be giving you everything I have got!" Saria greeted.

"Yes! And I will show you no mercy!" Yugi replied, his Millennium Puzzle activating, "Well, ladies first!"

No matter how this duel turns out, I shall be grateful for Yugi's help. He taught me a lot about the heart of the cards and now we shall see who has more heart. Saria thought as she drew a sixth card.

"Well Yugi, as they say..." Saria began.

"Let's duel!"
