The Lady Fire

Prologue

After the final battle, which left England in ruins, the trio split up. Harry went on to other more quiet countries, and Ron and Hermione went to Ireland to start their new lives. Ginny was left alone. Few of her family had survived. Her mother and father were still alive, but of all her siblings only Ron and Charlie were left. Bill was killed some 'secret operation', the Order called it. Percy was killed by Death Eaters when her refused give up where some certain peoples were hiding (either he really was a good guy, or he just didn't know where they were and therefore could not tell). The Weasley twin's death was particularly tragic, so I will not go into great detail. Let's just say they went out like true Gryffindors. But Ginny didn't cry. Not anymore. There comes a point when you do stop. When no matter what happens, no tears come. Loss had just become a way of life. So when Harry, Ron, and Hermione left to get on with their lives, Ginny felt the best thing to do would be to follow in their example, and get on with hers.
