Smart Ranma AU One shot first fic warning
What if Ranma was smart & showed it from the night he first met the Tendos?
What if Ranma was smart? Sure there are a lot of fanfics which portray Ranma as really being smart however for some reason he does not show it until the author decides to intervene.

A very familiar scean, a busty red head kicks a panda in the rain into a signpost.
"Engaging me to some girl I never met? Which century do you live in!? That's it old man I'm going back to china to find a cure."

A smart Ranma however was expecting this.
'I still cant beat pops, guess I'll just have to 'handle' the fiancée.'

"I hope he's not younger, younger men bore me", Kasumi said when she noticed what sounded like an altercation on their front porch.

"Pick one son", Soun Tendo said," to be your FIANCEE."
Before any of the prospective fiancées could say anything Ranma replied.
"Akane, I want Akane."
What!! No way! You PERVERT. Besides I HATE BOYS and I HATE YOU."
This was followed by a boulder being smashed on Ranma's head.
Ranma blinked apparently overwhelmed by the response.
"Oh...k, Nabiki then"
Nabiki gave Ranma a cold look.
"I am NOT for sale. That said are you rich?"
"Of course not."
Ranma produced a soda can ring, got down on one knee. After all it's the thought that counts.
"Nabiki will you marry me?"
"If you try following me around I'll sue you."
Ranma sighed turned to face Kasumi apologetically.
"Well, I'm sorry but I tried. They both seem against me. I'm sorry Mrs. Tendo I guess I'll be on my way."
At which point Kasumi reached out and strangled Ranma to death.
"Mrs. Tendo!! Hmph..."
