Last night you gave me a kiss you didn't know it but I was awake when you did
Tyson was lying in his bed. Kai walked over to him and gave him a soft kiss on the cheek. They loved each other...but then again...Kai didn't believe in love, he wouldn't stay long. Just long enough to say how he felt...Tyson was asleep...he would absorb what Kai said...but it would all seem to be a dream.
You said some things you didn't know I could hear, and the words 'I love you' never sounded so sincere.
Tyson's dream sequence
"Kai...where are you???" I asked quietly to the sky. Kai had left...he was gone...there was nowhere else for me to look for him. Gods I love him...but I want him back...I never meant for him to leave, I was supposed to be the one to hurt and leave someone else. "Tyson..." I hear a soft voice say. I look over and see Kai, his beautiful deep and light blue locks flowing with the wind. "Tyson, I love you, you know that, but...I can't stay. Please don't wory about it, I will always love you more than anything else on Earth, but I just won't stay.
It's gonna make it hard to tell you that I'm leavin now that I know just how much you care, you finally gave me one good reason not to go, but stayin here is my worst fear.
End Tyson's dream sequence
Tyson woke up that morning to the birds chirping and the beautiful sun shining through the blue curtains in his room...blue...the color of Kai's hair...his beautiful Kai, the Kai that was no longer there.
This morning I rolled outta bed, recallin all the sweet things you said, this was the day I was gonna hurt ya bad, called out your name but you didn't answer back.
He walked down-stairs thinking Kai would be there. "Kai! Hey Kai!" he yelled. Tyson was planning on breaking-up with Kai today, he loved him and all, but it just wasn't working. "Kai?" he calls again, questioningly.
I searched the house to find out what was wrong, like a ton of bricks, it hit me you were gone.
Tyson looked all over the house for Kai. He even checked the attic and basement. "Kai!!! Where are you??? Kai!!!!" Tyson called for his beloved until his throat became hoarse and he could speak no longer.

The other side of town, where Kai is
Kai was wandering down the streets of town, wondering what his Tyson was doing now. He knew that no matter how much he loved Tyson and Tyson loved him back, there was always something missing in their love, he had to get away. Maybe for a day, maybe forever, he didn't know what was gonna happen in his life, but he knew one thing, Tyson would always be in his heart, and he would always love him.
All along I knew that there was something missing, and only one thing left to do, I had to leave behind the life that we'd been living but the only thing that left was you, it's gonna make it hard to tell you that I'm leaving now that I know just how much you care, you finally gave me one good reason not to go but being alone is my worst fear, and stayin here is my worst fear.
That night, Tyson went to bed, tears in his eyes, his eyes were red and puffy from crying, he would love Kai forever, nothing would ever change that, not life, not a new love, not even death keep him from his love, his life, his Kai.
