Finding The Courage
Every morning the sun peaks over the hills
And I wake up having dreamed about you
We've been together for so long now
And yet I still haven't found the courage I need
I can slay a thousand demons
But I can't tell you how much I love you
For I am still holding on to her
Even though she smells of death
She was once mine
But her heart has filled with too much hate now
When I'm with you,you take away all of my pain
You make me want to love again
You make me feel free
One day soon I hope to let you know
That my heart skips when you're near
And I become weak
So I'll hold you close and never let go
And I will be your protector for all of time
As soon as I find the courage to make you mine.
