One beautiful Monday morning, Tomoyo headed over to school in her brand-new 7th grade uniform. She thought about her friend, Sakura, as she walked slowly to Tomoeda, her school. Tomoyo had known Sakura since the 4th grade and they had been best friends ever since. But back then, Sakura was just a playful, immature little girl. Now, she has grown into a beautiful young woman. And has found her true love, Syaoran Li. .:: Tomoyo goes all starry-eyed ::. Tomoyo just adored her friend, Sakura. In fact, she had been making all the wonderful costumes that Sakura wore on her quest to become a Master of the Clow. But now all that was over, along with the danger and evil of the Clow(so she thought). Then, a horrible thought came to Tomoyo. What did she earn from all that hard work? She worked long hours to sew Sakura's costumes and videotape all her adventures, but Tomoyo never got anything in return.........
Oh well, I'll get over it in a few days, Tomoyo thought. Of course she just loved her friend, Sakura. But often, thoughts of jealousy swept over her. Tomoyo had adored Sakura, because she wanted to be just like her. But she wasn't.... Her dreams had never come true, no matter how hard she wished they would. On the other hand, Sakura had gotten whatever she needed. Plenty of friends, a boyfriend that she really loved, a family who really cared about her, and plenty of other stuff. And Tomoyo? Well, she got a rich mom who cared about her profits more then her, a dad who wasn't around anymore, and she got plenty of valuable items and toys that she didn't even want. What Tomoyo really wished for was a lot of friends who truly cared about her. Eriol Hiragizawa was ok, but he just had to run off with Ms. Mizuki......
Now Tomoyo was approaching the school. She spotted Sakura, but didn't quite feel like pouncing on Sakura and energetically chatting with her like she usually did. Instead, she walked gloomily to the 7th grade classroom and sat quietly at her desk.
