Joel met up with Keith and talked about the legend. First, They got weapons from the Blacksmith at town. Then they decided to go into the forest. There were two paths. Joel said to split up then to meet at Hoax. Hoax was a tiny town that looked like a fort.
Joel was soon half a mile in the forest. He saw someone practicing with a staff. The person asked, "What are you doing here?" (Joel) "I'm going to the city of Hoax." (???) "I'm Raven and I'm from Hoax." I can take you there" (Joel) "That would be nice!"
Mean while Keith was having a hard time trying to find the right path. He wandered the wrong way then ran into a beast. He took out a lance and started to hit it. After killing the beast he saw a chest behind it. He opened the chest and before his eyes was a shining red stone. He grabbed it and found a sign that said, "Hoax 1 1/2 mile ahead.
When they finally met in Hoax Joel introduced Raven and Keith. They went to a General store to get items to help in their journey. Raven decided to get a small bottle of Dragons Blood. He says it would increase his magic ability. He poured some of it on his staff and it started glowing. Then Keith asked what the stone he found was. The person working the store told him that it was a rare magic stone of fire. He decided to keep the stone just in case he needed it.
They found the inn and slept there at night.
Joel woke up at the sound of bombs. Then he heard a guard yell "BATTLE STATIONS!" Joel woke up the others as a person out side said, "Get out Get out!" Joel got his sword; Keith got his lance and asked for Dragon Blood for his gem. He got some but Raven got the rest. They went outside ready to fight. Keith and Raven took the high grounds while Joel took the lower grounds.
Many soldiers died but the last enemy was Tassadar. Joel's and Keith's weapons did nothing. Raven was blasting huge fireballs at Tassadar. It seemed to have hurt him a lot. Raven ran out of energy as more fire balls appeared. It seemed that Keith was using his gem. Keith also ran out of energy. They got knocked unconscious. Joel saw his memento and was fused with it. His arms turned into wings, feet into talons, and he was covered with scales. His head started to go sharp and then he was a Red Dragon.
Tassadar ran away.
When the others were conscious they saw Joel morph back into a human. From nowhere another person came from the sky. She controlled the gem because only her arms were morphed. "My name is Tracey," she said
