Rohan Has Come
By lordoftheringsfanficreader
Rohan has come.
A horn is heard,
Clear and deep throughout the fields.
Rows of horses stand proudly, lining the hill.
Spears point forward,
Tips sharp and shining in the sun.
Their King rallies them up,
'Death!' they shout,
Each voice blending together as one.
Once, twice, three times.
The horn is sounded again,
Bellowing an unshakeable call.
They gallop forward,
Faster, faster.
Nearing the lines of Mordor.
The rays of the mighty sun shine behind them,
Giving them the light of Salvation.
Pure courage burns in their hearts,
They feel no fear.
True strength has finally been shown.
They may not survive, but they will succeed.
They will go on, and their legacy will remain.
No one can stop them,
For Rohan has come.
Author's Note: Ah, yet another one of my favorite parts in "The Return of the King". I don't like this poem as much as my other, "Gondor Calls", as I don't think this really does this moment in the story/movie justice. Then again, I'm sure only the master himself can do that ;). I hope you enjoyed, and even if you didn't, I hope you will review!
