Chapter 1: Leaving

It was Harry's birthday and as usual the Dursley's forgot his birthday again. He didn't care at the moment as he was treating himself to a little birthday pleasure. He moaned as a warm liquid sprayed on to his chest. He got up from his bed ready to send an owl to his best friend Ron. Harry had feelings for Ron that he could not explain.

He sat for a moment deciding what to write and finally just wrote:

Dear Ron

You have to get out of here I have come here and now I am able to leave. Send an owl back to me telling where you are in Grimmauld Place or The Burrow. Hedwig is out but I will send this to you as soon as she gets back. I send my love.

P.S will Hermione be there

He read it over once and decided that was good enough for Ron even though Hermione would probably want a better-written letter.

He received a letter later the next day and it read

Dear Harry

We will come and get you by car this time because of what happened last time anyway bye for now and Hermione won't be there for another week make sure your stuff is all packed for tomorrow

Ron.

Harry was happy and he was ready to leave the Dursley's and see Ron but anyhow he had to go tell the Dursley's that he was leaving for the rest of the summer.

He stumbled down the stairs with giddiness and told the Dursley's he was leaving they just nodded and grunted.
