What is over the rainbow anyways?
I've wondered about this for a while. Ever since I got my powers, I've liked exploring the air, going to small, remote places where other people can't find. But I've never tried flying over the rainbow.
That song from The Wizard of Oz says it's a place where dreams come true. But I'm not sure if I believe that. I don't think there is a place where dreams come true. Then again, I didn't use to believe in ghosts either.
So if the song is right, what would happen if I did go over the rainbow? Would the Land of Oz be there? Or something else? Maybe some sort of alternate reality? Where she likes me?
Yeah. That'd be nice.
I know she already likes me, but she doesn't like me. Much as I wish she did. I've liked her ever since I met her, and I like her even more now, what with Ember, and other stuff going on.
Then again, I like being her friend. I like hanging out with her. And if I ever tell her how I feel about her, that could ruin our friendship. Or I might just be paranoid, and maybe, hopefully, she feels the same way. Or maybe not.
I don't mean to complain here, I do like having her as a best friend. And while I'd like us to be more than friends, I'm fine with the way things are.
So maybe I won't fly over the rainbow. What's the point, if I don't really need my dreams to come true? Someday, though, I may go there. But if I do, I'll bring her with me.
