Inspired by the Inuyasha ending, "Dearest" it's suppose to be in Inuyasha's POV. You know how when Inuyasha has his eyes closed? And then the sun rises and he slowly awakens back to reality? Yah, that was really kewl for me, so what do I do? Write a poem, of course! and since I'm in a good mood, I'll say it could be his feelings for ANY of those two ladies. but I'm rooting for Kikyou! XDD
To that Sunshine in My Life
And then I realize.
They weren't lies.
All along, it's been real.
What I felt, and what I feel.
Not too long ago, I gave up hope.
Lost faith in my beliefs,
And longed for relief.
Yes, I was quite a dope,
For I spent my days alone to mope.
But before I knew it,
My soul became lit
The sun shone so bright
So I followed the light.
And...
The light led me to you...
Life looked anew,
And together we flew,
Up to cloud nine
And forever you stayed; forever mine.
Short, eh? I dunno, I wanted to write a bit more, but I figured "keep it simple" works best.
