Pirates of the Caribbean: Forced to marry
Summary: Elizabeth's father forbids her to see Will and Forces her to accept Norrington's proposal. Unable to handle this, she runs away and Will and Norrington compete to find her before the other and win her love.
Chapter one:
Elizabeth opened the front door quietly and started to tippy-toe upstairs to her bedroom. But before she could, she came face to face with her father and he didn't look too happy.
"Where have you been?"
"Out for a....walk" she said not looking at her father.
"At this time of night?"
"Yes" she lied
"You've been with that boy again, haven't you?"
Yes, she had. They had been at the blacksmith shop talking, they must have lost track of time.
"Yes father"
"I will not let you get involved with a blacksmith, he is too irresponsible. I forbid you to see him again, I'm sorry"
"No you're not! You just want me to marry Norrington instead of Will, I love Will, why can't you understand that?" she practically yelled at him
"Because proper ladies, like yourself, are not meant to marry blacksmiths. Any lady within a thousand miles would not choose a blacksmith over a Commodore"
"Well, I'm different. Can't you see that? I don't want to be a proper lady!"
"Well, you're going to accept Norrington's proposal and if I have to lock you in your room to stop you from seeing that boy, then I will"
Elizabeth ran upstairs to her bedroom and fell on her bed, bursting into tears.
Elizabeth spent the next three days in her room, never leaving it. The maids brought her food and water three times a day and her father came in a few times but she ignored him so he left. Will noticed this too and he knocked on the front door at least ten times a day.
"She's, um, busy" her father would say every time and slammed the door in his face.
Finally, he decided he wanted some answers, so he grabbed some small stones and threw them at Elizabeth's closed window.
She opened the window not long after that.
"Elizabeth, are you ok?"
"I'm fine"
"What have you been doing the last three days?"
"Nothing"
"Your father said that you were busy?" Will asked confused
"Did he now?" she suddenly felt the anger pumping through her like poison.
"Elizabeth?" Will asked, noticing Elizabeth's anger.
"I've got to go, bye"
Before Will could say anything else, she closed the window. She was glad to see him but she was just too depressed to see anyone at the moment.
