Somewhere, other than Wars World, Hawke sits brooding. Since his defeat on Green Earth and the destruction of the enigmatic entity known as Sturm, he has waited. Lash, Adder, and that dimwit Flak, they are out, feeling the vibes in Wars World for the best time to strike.
"I told you, CO's of Wars World, I will return!"
Andy wipes his hands on the rag and tosses the wrench to Max.
"There," he says, "your Neotank is fixed."
"Thanks." Max looks up at the towering tank. "It's been nice, not having to worry about anyone coming to take over."
"Yeah. More time for PARTIES!!" Andy runs off to the Orange Star HQ, leaving Max next to the Neotank. He sighs and leans against one of the legs. A T-Copter goes by overhead. He waves; Sami waves back.
"Orange Star is reunited." Max turns. Nell walks up and stands next to him. "All the countries have repaired the damage Black Hole did." Max nods. They walk to greet Sami.
Colin and Olaf watch Grit finish his practice.
"Good job, Commander Grit!" Colin says enthusiastically. Grit and Olaf share bemused looks.
"Son, practice makes perfect. Now if you'd just practice relaxin." Colin nods as he heads into the practice room.
"He has improved much since the Black Hole crisis." Olaf turns to Grit. "As have we all. Blue Moon has risen from the ashes and become greater."
"Ah yeah...I gotta go...rest." Grit walks away quickly, leaving Olaf to monitor Colin's training.
In Yellow Comet, Sonja and Sensei are playing chess while Kanbei polishes his samurai sword.
"And...checkmate." Sensei looks at the board in amazement,
"But...but...oh blast. Kanbei, your daughter beat me again."
"She'll do that. No one has ever beaten her." Sonja smiles modestly.
"Emperor!" Kanbei turns to the soldier.
"Yes?"
"Dispatch from Green Earth. Commanding Officer Eagle wants to speak with you."
"Tell him I'll be right there." He waves Sonja and Sensei back down. "Play another game. I'll be back soon." He sheaths his sword and walks to the communication room.
"Commander Kanbei." Eagle bows.
"Commander Eagle." Kanbei returns the bow.
"I have some new..."
All over Wars World, everyone is relaxing. The damages Sturm and his CO's caused have been repaired.
However, on the horizon lies a dark dawn...
