In all his years, he had never before been caught in a rainstorm, nor had he ever purposefully gone outside with those intentions in mind. Having always been somewhat reserved, it was not like him to engage in such childish activities. Thus, he could not properly explain his sudden and most compelling urge to do something to that effect. The only clue as to why he was currently indulging such a juvenile whim lay with her. She had slipped away when no one was looking, and now stood on the balcony, completely drenched. She alone was responsible for his enlightenment.


A/N: I was kind of disappointed that I didn't get any reviews after all this time, but not really surprised all at the same time. Guess it serves me right for being such a hypocrite, eh? Don't know why it was so hard for me to drag out my notebook and type this out. Just was. Was planning on saving Squall for last, but it was so good (pardon my own, over-inflated ego), it was just begging to be posted.
