Ch. 1 A Little About Me
I'm different than everyone else in every way possible. I can see the future in my dreams. Really, I can. I also have the ability to move objects with the use of my mind. I understand if you don't understand, no one ever does.
Anyway, my name is Mae. Just Mae. My best friend's name is Anna. She's a Ravenclaw like me. She understands that I'm different. I have one other friend who is in Gryffindor. His name is Jake. We all spend a lot of time together. He also knows my secret, along with a few Slytherins who I thought were my friends in first year. I told them because I was stupid, and I've been paying for that for three years.
I've tried to tell my mom my secret. All she does is yell at me. I can't tell my dad. My parents divorced when I was less than a year old. I come from a Muggle family.
I was actually having a good day - until I ran into the Slytherins on my way to Potions class.
