Final Goodbye

This is a short poem that accompanies my Sailor Moon Legacy Series Fanfiction, from the Usagi story. I'm not sure how good it is, but when read with the story, it made a girl cry. Does that mean something?

Final Goodbye

Deep pools of blue

Looking straight through to my soul

Words burning in your eyes

Of love untold

I hold your fragile hand in mine

Afraid to let you go

If I may never see you again,

I still will love you so

For if you leave for heaven now,

To be an angel up above

I'll still feel your lips as sweet as ever

My heart engraved with your love

No, please don't close your eyes

And hide the twinkle held there

I long to see you gazing at me

Toying with your golden hair

Please don't drop your hand from mine

To feel your grip so strong

To be here now and forever

Is only where I belong

I beg you, please God, don't take her now

She has her life to live

For to see her alive and with us all

My entire life I'll give

Usagi, this is my final goodbye kiss

I don't want you to see me cry

I'll take care of our daughter

And the best dad I'll be, I'll try

I'll leave you now in your peace

You are always close to my heart

For our love as strong as ever will be

And never shall we part.
