Starcraft: Revelations

Author's Notes: This was written for me to have a break from thinking too much for WOFAB, save from having a breakdown. At least WOFAB will be updated more regularly than this would be.
For the Prologue, it's in the UED point of view, which had scarcely survived from the Battle of the Three Waves, as I called the part when the UED, the Protoss and Dominion had been defeated by Kerrigan. Basically, the UED remnants have discovered a new planet which has properties similar to Earth... Little did they realize that they are in for a surprise...
On the last note, Act 2, or Chapter 1, either of which I will decide, will be out when I finished Chapter 3 of WOFAB (Wars of the Future and Beyond)
Prologue : Peculiar Discoveries - Act 1
It was 3 years since the UED expedition was scattered by the Zerg horde that was under the lead of the Queen of Blades, known as Kerrigan. Raynor and Zeratul had went on their separate ways. Also, there was a very dark rumor, that an old power has been awakened since the destruction of the overmind...
Meanwhile, the remnants of the UED battalion have strayed into another unknown world, and have decided to land and explore the lands which seemed capable to support human life forms. Fort Shanks was set up to house troops, many still wounded from the Battle of the Four Waves. Currently, under the trusted leadership of Javire Numschof, they could do nothing but to be in the hands of blind hope. Wishing to discover anyone, or anything, to aid their return to Earth safely...
"This is Bravo 1; Reece is uneventful, nothing to report, over."
"This is Bravo 2; No life forms have been detected yet, over."
Shadowy figures were floating in the velvet skies of the new-discovered planet. Monotonous droning of well-worn Wraith propulsion jets could be heard. Captain Mike Rogers scanned the virtually mapped views of what seemed to be mountains, and soon, the green lines quickly faded to nothingness.
"Curse those visors..." cussed Rogers as he tried to no avail to reboot the radar-mapping systems. So, he had no choice but to remove his visors...
He gasped.
