One thousand words, calling through the ages, hearing myself, singing
only three of those, the same you say. You heard me, and I heard you, through the winds, when you were gone. I know the words, can you believe
what I've been doing? Memorizing them, repeating them. Just as you do,
every morning, and every night. Like the sun and moon, we are with
eachother, but never reunited. but those words still ring. And I'll say them a thousand times, just to get you back. Will one suffice?
I love you.
I closed the book, having read the poem over and over again. It was in Tidus' journal, which he 'lost' the night after his return. He had wrote after the short ballad, that he had thought of it while not being, trapped in darkiness, and seeing only the one he loved. He clinged to it, never forgetting it. How ironic, his verses were somewhat like the lyrics to Lenne's song. "I suppose, they are both still from Zanarkand." I said aloud, smiling.
My star blitz player was gone for the day, having to be tackled by Wakka, and bombarded with questions from Rikku. Ofcourse, I wasn't one to let him go without a fight. I demanded him to be back at 6 PM. I had a suprise for him, waiting, and waiting. "Oh, I hope he likes it" I said, squealing and putting the book underneath our bed.
"Yuuuunnieeee!" I heard a voice squeal. I couldn't mistake it, it was Rikku. She was still hyper, having Tidus back was like getting back her one and only brother. Although, Brother isn't too happy about all of his attention going down the drain, especially to Tidus. I don't know why, I mean, he can't be mad about something so wonderful happening, can he? Hmm...
"Yuuunnnieee! It's almost 6! We need to finish setting it upppp!" Rikku squealed again. I sighed. "I'm coming, Rikku!" I yeld, jumping off of the bed, and fumbling for my slippers. "Just a second!!!".
I ran outside, in the only clothes I could find at the moment, a long blue pj shirt, and shome shorts. "Ack, Yuunnniiieee! C'mon!" Rikku nearly screamed, pushing me towards the Airship. "And where the heck is you sphere grid?!" she was giving me a headache now. "It's right here, you dolt! You gave it to me, because you said Yuna would be too flustered to remember it.... Holy crap, you need a brain." Paine said, leaning against the entrance, and looking quite pissed. And, as she said, there it was, in her hand, being waved around like a floppy disc... Wait, what's a floppy disc? Oh, never mind...
------------------- End of whatcha-ma-call-it numbah one; cause they aren't long enough to be called chapters. Editors note; I bet you all can guess what is going to happen, yes? My fanfiction chpaters aren't very long, so deal, ok? I'll probably update soon.
