Author's Note: Kyara is my own character, based on my thoughts, if you have any ideas, please review and tell me!
Disclaimer: I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh, some really really rich person does
I sat at my laptop computer, working solemnly away on my report for English, that was well done, and longer than it was supposed to be. I hit print, and the pieces of paper came (too) slowly out of the printer. I scanned the finished paper with large green eyes. 'Yes, that looks right.' I walked over to the computer and began working diligently again. This time, it was Spanish. 'Kyara?' I was a little overly surprised by the soft voice that called to me from the door.
I squeaked (You guys know, that little mouse like squeak when some girls get surprised?) turned all too quickly, which resulted in nothing more than me falling off my chair, and staring up at the face of,,, who else?
The one and only Joey Wheeler. Unfortunately, he seemed to enjoy nothing more than scaring me while I am working. I leaped up to my feet and shook a delicately-boned fist in his face, right at eyes level with his brilliantly brown eyes.
'You, Joey Wheeler are this,' At this time I held up two fingers about an inch apart. 'close to being pulverised!' He laughed, which seriously annoyed me. 'Haha, Kyr,' which was another of his rather annoying names for me. 'you know you couldn't pulverize me if you even tried.' He gave me a goofy grin
I sighed as he pushed my fist down, and away from his face. I crossed my arms and had that Don't-even-try-and-put-it-beneath-me look and told him with haughty tone to my soft voice, 'You know that I went easy on you this time, don't you?'
Yet again, he laughed at my with that irritating laugh. Now, you have to understand, I've known Joey since he moved here when I was a little girl.
So we (though mostly he did) picked on each other all the time.
As I sat back down to work on Spanish, he pulled my long, curly, red, hair, which was pulled up in a thick, curly, mass of a pony-tail. I glared at him. Literally, with daggers in my looks.
He grabbed at his chest and fell to the ground, writhing in mock agony.
'Oooohhhh!! Ya got my Kyr....Oooohhhh.....I'm dyin' I'm dyin'!!!!'
I tossed my head, throwing red curls over my shoulder. I bent down to help him up. 'Haha... Very funny Joey. ' I grabbed his wrist and with much melodrama, hauled him up onto his feet.
'Argh, man Joey, you musta gotten heavier or sumthin'. 'Cause you've defiantly gotten heavier.' I winked at him and hauled him onto his feet.
He knew I was only kidding him.
At that moment, Yugi came into my small dorm-like room.
'Joey? Did you forget?' 'Huh? Wha? Forget what?'
Yugi sighed and shook his head. 'Joey, we've gotta get to the train. Remember now?' He turned to me. 'And Kyara, if you're going to try out your moves, you better get ready. We're leaving in a little while.' I turned from my bed, where I had already begun packing my cards, clothes, shoes, socks, and hair ties.
I put on my thin, brown sunglasses. 'How could I forget?' I smiled, embarrassed. 'I didn't forget, I just forgot...what...time..it..was...' Yugi laughed cheerily, which made me smile. 'I never can trust you with time, can I Kyr?'
I laughed. He always made me smile. 'No. I'm afraid not.'
