Diary of a Runaway Princess

July 1

I know running away from home is not the way to solve problems. Everyone at home treats me either as if I'm still five or I'm ready to handle all the responsibilities of being a princess. I just want to be a normal teenager! Besides my mother and father (THE Moon Queen and Earth King) will hardly notice I'm gone because of the new baby.

I've escaped into the past and far from home. The 21st century United States seemed like a good place where no one would look for me. With my pink hair I hardly look any different from any other teenager.

I've enrolled myself onto an average American high school. I had to tell the school I'm living with a deaf grandmother, whom I have to take care of due to her extreme old age. Except I actually live alone in a very awesome apartment. I paid for it using money from a vault back home.

Today I decided to see what the local mall is like.  It's quite different from the one back home. I bought furniture and other stuff I needed for my new home.  I also opened a savings account for the money I have with me.  The only person I miss back home isn't even a person; she's my guardian and companion, Diana. She was the only one that I could ever really talk to that didn't treat me like a kid or a princess.  She acted as if I was just a girl. I hope I find a friend here that will be the same.
