A/N: Okay song fic inspired by Lonely Grill by Lonestar. X-Men is owned by Marvel comics and Stan Lee and not me so okay then.

Why did I leave?, he thought. She was so happy and then I went and destroyed us. Wow I am getting soft.

"Hey you gonna get your drink?" asked the bartender, a slender bald man with a small red mustache wearing a white shirt and khakis, he appeared to be in his early forties.

"Yeah bub I'm getting my drink," said Logan.

"Okay no need for that," said the bartender.

"Look bub I'm sorry, but I'm going through some rough times, I just made the love of my life run away and to hell with me if I know where she is"

"I understand"

"Hey you gotta name?" asked Logan.

"John how about you?" he asked

"Logan"

Lonely Grill started playing.

Box speaker talking outta tune.

Two for one at the Blue Lagoon, another lost and found.

Where is she? Does she miss me? Logan was becoming surprisingly soft.

Bar tender takes another pass.

Puts the salt on the rim of another glass and he sets it down.

I know every color of every neon sign flashin outta heartache in the back of my mind.

Logan chuckled to himself, Lonely Grill that was the name of this bar. He had heard stories of how the bar got it's name, and most of them he

Down at the Lonely Grill got nothing but time to kill at the end of everyday.

I sit in a corner booth, do nothing but think of you and the love we threw away, and I guess I always will down at the Lonely Grill

Logan sighed, and took a sip of beer. He hit the table with his fist, matching the beat of music. Did she still love him? If, how much? He just had to make her cry.

Sad eyedwaitress called Betty Lynn got her order pad and her ballpoint pin and says, "What'll it be?" I said "A full of cold regret, and a full order of loneliness like every night this week". I swallow my pride, and I drink down. Another smoke filled evening, with no fire to found.

There was no more fire in their relationship, just a patch of smoke, memories of their time together. He loved her with all his heart, all his soul, his entire mind, and all his strength. He had once heard once, that love was more powerful than time or space, if so, maybe his relationship with her could still be burning. It was his fault, and he regretted every hurtful word he had spoken to her. Why? Why did he hurt her? Even he didn't know that. He was angry, not with her, nor the world, but himself.

Down at the lonely grill.

Got nothing, but time to kill at the end of everyday.

I sit in a corner booth.

Do nothing but think of you and the love we threw away.

I guess I always will down at the lonely grill.

Logan sniffed the air. A new scent flooded his senses. It was something he had smelled before. He turned. Her white hair made her stick out like a glowing neon sign in the middle of Antarctica.

"Ro? Ro are you okay?" he said.

"Yes Logan I'm fine," she said

"I'm so sorry," said Logan.

"I'm just as guilty,"

He wrapped his strong arms around her; she gave in to the embrace and buried herself in his jacket. He kissed her passionately.

So...whatcha...think?
