This is the first serious writing I have ever done for fanfiction. Please don't laugh. Review if you can stomach it.
I sit in my chair
Hearing the clock swing:
Tick, tock, tick, tock.
Seconds racing into
minutes racing into
hours, days, and years.
But time doesn't matter to me.
I will always
hold onto my memories;
forever lost
in golden ages past.
Some day, my dear,
some day, my love,
I'll find you.
The past will become
reality, putting the pieces
back together again.
Life will be perfect,
and we will perfect,
immortalized by our love.
We are so close to
reaching heaven.
What I seek
lies behind me;
it eludes me,
but not for long.
All I ask is perfection.
Is that too hard to grant,
or too much to give
after I have waited all
of these long years?
Stay with me, my love,
stay with me forever.
We'll see the beauty
of our impossible dreams.
