"Ron, if you don't stop it, then I'm not going to let you copy the rest of this."

"Sorry Hermione, but it's just so easy to make fun of you sometimes."

"Well, stop it. And don't just think that I'm going to let you copy my potions homework every night, because this is just a one-time-thing. The only reason I'm letting you do this is because I know that you just had a really tough quidditch practice, and you really didn't have any time to get this done on your own."

"Yeah, I know. Hey, speaking of quidditch practice, I haven't seen Harry since we came back into the castle. He just said that he had some things to take care of, and he just left. Do you know where he went?"

"No. I thought you knew. Well, anyway, don't worry about him. I'm sure he's fine. Now get back to work, or you'll never get this finished, and I don't think Snape will care whether you had quidditch practice all night or not. He's not going to go easy on you if you don't get this essay finished."

"I know, I know! Quit nagging me will ya?!"

"Well, hurry up!"

"Hey guys! I'm back."

"Harry!" Hermione said, delightfully. "Where have you been all this time?"

"Oh, I've just been, uh, well, I've just been doing stuff. Now, is there any chance of me copying that potions essay, Hermione?" Said Harry uneasily.

"Well, you've been quite mysterious lately, haven't you? And why haven't you been working on your essay for the past hour and a half. I'm surprised at you, Harry. You've never been so behind in your work." Said Hermione.

"Yeah, well, I've been busy lately. Now, do you want me to get this essay done or not?" Said Harry impatiently.

"Well, okay. But, you've been acting very strange lately." Hermione said with a bit of uneasiness to her tone.

"Yeah, yeah. Man, I'm so tired." Said Harry, slouching further down into his chair. "That quidditch practice really took a lot out of me today, eh Ron?" Said Harry, trying to change the subject.

"You can say that again." Replied Ron, handing Hermione's potions essay over to Harry so he could begin copying it.

After about an hour, Harry finally finished his essay, and by that time, it was already past midnight. Ron had already gone up to bed, but Hermione was still sitting by the fire with Crookshanks on her lap.

"Why are you still down here, Hermione? Why haven't you gone up to bed yet?" Asked Harry.

"Oh, I'm not very tired yet." Hermione answered, without looking at Harry.

"Oh, well, I've finished my essay. You can have your's back now. Thanks for letting me copy it. I'm gonna go up to bed now. That quidditch practice really made me tired. You should get up to bed soon, or you'll be really tired tomorrow."

"You're welcome. And don't worry, I'll go on up to bed soon. I won't stay here all night, I promise." Said Hermione, laughing slightly.

"Well, good night." Said Harry, walking up the stairs.

"Good night." Answered Hermione, smiling.
