The Sweetest Thing

Hermione Granger's Point of View

You call to me before the dawn

When I am dreadful and lonely

I hear your voice, it's quiet as mice

There's someting you want to show me.

I tiptoe down the stairs to you

I show you I'm awake

You quickly reach to grab my hand And kiss me on the face.

I'm lead outside past the yard

Towards the desolate plains

The air gets cold and windy

And soon then come the rains.

I'm carried until we reach a tree

And then you set me down

We've made it to your secret place

You whisper,"Look around."

I glance around this heaven

It's real and full of love

The rain ends its fall

And soon we see a dove.

That dove it flew

And soon you grabbed my waist

I thought aloud

Just how could you find such a sweet just place?

You tuck my loose curl behind my ear

And whisper to me,
"It's been here all along why did you not see?"

"I guess I was too blind," says I

For I was pondering

He turned my face towards his face

And slipped my finger underneath a ring.

"No, you were never blind,"
He says to me while I shyly cry

And then once more he says,
"Now our love will never die."

He kisses me tenderly

And asks, "Will you marry me?"

And my heart soon skips a beat

I look into his eyes and say, "Yes, you're the sweetest thing."
